The other day he was playing on his back porch with the baby gate shut so he wouldn't be able to get out and into the yard but he ended up finding a way to get out anyway...

Update on squirrel

Ok, Micaiah finally decided on a name for his squirrel...Hammy!!! :) Do you remember the squirrel on the movie Over the Hedge? That is where he got the name. Joel actually gave him the idea. Autumn still insists on calling him 'Runkture'. (I have no idea how to spell it though.) Anyway, he is growing bigger every day...and way cuter!!!!! Everybody falls in love with him when they see him. :)
Right now Micaiah is building Hammy a cage that is 2' deep, 4' wide, and 7' high. (I don't know any of the technical terms for stuff like this so if it bothers you, please excuse me)

This is just a picture of it on its side half way done. There isn't wire mesh on the top or bottom and he has yet cut out a door.

Wow! I tried to upload a video but it took years and still didn't work!!! :( Totally not worth it I think. :( I lost about four hours of sleep tonight on it.... :( 

The Doings of Rustie

Rustie has started to raise rabbits for meat. He went out and bought two, a male and female, Saturday. He has them in a cage he built now. He has this whole system worked out with how he's going to raise them and all. Raising meat isn't the only thing he has taken a liking to, he has been planting a bunch of vegetables in our garden. Whenever he gets home from work, he works outside until there is no more daylight, only then will he come inside to eat his dinner. Anyway, he is very excited and so are we!!!

Baking...

I guess I've had a streak of baking in me this week because I baked some more cookies, this time very unhealthy chocolate chip ones, this afternoon with Autumn and Gavin. We had loads of fun and lucky for you I did take some pictures!!! Pictures always make blogs more fun to read! :)

Autumn and Gavin took the cookies around tonight with their grandma to a couple of our neighbors we know.  We also have some saved for the mailman tomorrow. A new family is moving in across the street and we are trying to get to know them along with our other neighbors.
