Clothes shopping...

Well, Aya and I took my mom clothes shopping today for her birthday. I wasn't in the mood at all because I staid up really late last night and got up super early this morning in order to catch my ride home, but, I did go. It wasn't very successful in the beginning. We did find her a couple shirts at one store. After lunch, however, we went to a couple more stores and found the jack pot!! Pants are always the hardest and most difficult item of clothing there ever is to find! We ended up finding her two pairs of pants...that she likes...one pair of capris, two shirts, a jacket, and a sweater!!! Both pairs of pants plus the capris were on sale. The pants were normally $50 each but were $20 off on both! The capris were originally $45 but we got them for $7!! It was a major hit!! My mom is very excited and so are we. We wanted her to get some nice clothes for her birthday!

Wow! Something new happened!!

My dad met this nineteen year old guy named Chad a couple months ago at Fed Ex. Chad works night shift like my dad. They have only talked a little bit but last night Chad staid an hour after work talking to my dad. My dad told him lots of stories about the village and its history. Chad is very interested. He followed my dad home after the talk and found out where we live. Chad actually lives on Reese road which is one road down from us. He has a seventeen year old girlfriend who I would love to meet. I think he is going to come to dinner soon, but I don't know when because he goes to college in the day and works at night. Dad works tonight so I think they might talk again. It is very exciting!!

Stuff...

Abby did remember that it was my camera that she had and she did send it back with some work guys today!! :) So I never did get pics of Ari's boys on my camera although I did take some of them with her camera for her.

Never did hear any details about what exactly happened at Ben's Tuesday night. I do know that the people in their group are loosening up more towards us.

Nothing really to say. We are stilling looking every day for God's will for us that day. The main thing that's happening is the meeting every Tuesday night at Ben's. Ben and Toni, along with whoever shows up from the village, meet with us, I think, every other Thursday night. Ben and Toni couldn't come tonight because Toni wasn't feeling too good.

Thomas and Erika are going to be coming out next Thursday night. We shall see what happens with them.

Sadness :(

Abby borrowed my camera to take pictures of Kelly and Neharah on Saturday and never returned it, so now I'm stuck with three of my nephews out here and no camera to take pictures of them with!! :( Aaaarrrgggg!!! Oh well, there really isn't anything I can do about it now except complain to this computer. :)
Last night only Stephen, Ayala, Joel, and Austin went to Ben and Toni's for the meeting. Rushi was home with both her boys sick so she couldn't go and Ayala decided to leave her kids with Ariel. I haven't heard what happened there last night but only that it was awesome. They want all of us to go out there starting next week every week.
When I learn more about exactly what happened I'll get back on...if I have time...and blog it.

Nothing new...

Today was just like any other normal day really: school, library, exercise, eating etc. Ariel and kids are coming out tomorrow afternoon and staying until Wednesday night. I'm looking forward to it and hope to get some good pics of her boys. I miss them sooo much!! :)
Tomorrow is the mom's group meeting along with a meeting at Ben's house with his group. Joel, Stephen and families are going to that tomorrow night. Toni is coming out tomorrow morning for the mom's group meeting. I'm excited about what might happen with all that.

Update on life...

God has been doing loads in my life lately! He has asked me to do things that to me seem totally impossible but He has given me the strength to do it. I feel like I've tried my best to obey what He's told me to do and because of that, I feel like He's rewarded me. I went shopping for jeans yesterday with my mom. Usually when I go shopping for anything, much less jeans which are the hardest things to find, I have to go to thousands of stores and still go home unhappy. But yesterday we just went to one store and there I found three pairs of jeans in record time that both my mom and I liked!! That in itself is a miracle. We never never like the same things! So on top of that, all the Messenger girls were able to come out last night and stay the night just on a last minute heads up! We've been trying to get them out here ever since we moved here in last November, but nothing ever worked out. The girls didn't have a ride here so Austin, Mic, and I went and picked them up. Everything just seemed to slide into order. It was awesome!
The Messenger girls and I had loads of fun last night! First we did a little kids workout video. It was pretty funny. After that we just sat around for a little bit until all the guys went to bed then we got into a big wrestling match. None of us ever wrestle so it was quite hilarious to watch each other. A couple girls did a talk show after that then we powered down. The wrestling wore all of us down to our bare minimum! We were soo tired!! Anyway, after the gathering we had this morning the girls ate then Austin and I took them home. :( I am very grateful for the time that I got to spend with my friends!

Nothing new really going on here besides the above. The men here in the gatehouse and Ben Holt had a men's breakfast yesterday morning. They are going to start doing it every other Saturday mornings. Some of Ben's friends are going to be coming too. A lot is happening with Ben's group. They are asking a lot of questions and Joel is right there with answers. He is really excited about stuff happening. He has been waiting for this for a while now.

I guess that's all for tonight.
