Moving

Well, we moved everybody yesterday. Today is just a
settle in/organize day. I only got two pictures of people moving things yesterday because I helped a lot too. It is kind of hard to take pictures while your arms are full of stuff you have to carry next door!

Florida trip.

My family is going to Florida for Thanksgiving next week. My dad works night shift at Fed Ex and didn't think he was going to be able to get off the day we wanted to leave. We all have been praying that he did get the days off that he needed. A couple days ago, my nephew was in English class when he said that he heard God. He said that God told Him that his grandpa was going to be able to get off work and that all he needed to do was trust in Him. My nephew told his mom about what he heard God tell him. My dad didn't expect to get off so he went ahead and booked a ticket so he could fly down to Florida a day after the rest of us left. Two nights ago when my dad was at work, he happened to talk to his overseer and she mentioned that he had asked about getting a day off. My dad said that he knew it wouldn't happen because this is one of the most busiest times of the year. She said that he could have that day off! My dad was very glad that he got that day off but didn't know what to do about this ticket that he had booked. Once you book a ticket you aren't supposed to cancel it. Even if you do, you won't get refunded. My dad made a few phone calls and after a little while, he ended up getting fully refunded!! It is so weird how everything is just falling into place with this whole trip! We are very excited and looking forward to how God is going to use us on this trip!!

Fun with friends...

Two of my friends came out last night to help today with the moves. It didn't take us long so we went to a park and took loads of pictures just for fun!

We had tons of fun and I loved experimenting with the sun in the back round! I've always taken pictures with the sun facing the subject's face not back. I hope you like them!

Last day of living alone...

Today is officially my last day to have a room all to myself! :( Tomorrow my 4 year old niece is moving in. (Well, actually, she started to move today.) It's a pretty big wowie but I'm going to get used to it. I've lived with two other young kids before so the thought isn't like totally foreign to me or anything. It's just that I've had my own room for about half a year now and I've grown extremely comfortable! I guess that's why my niece is moving in. God is always stretching us and helping us to grow. He's always preparing us for things in the future. It isn't exactly the fact that I'm going to live with a little girl that scares me, it is the fact that my room will now become the "official" toy room for all my little niece's friends to destroy! That is a very scary fact for a seventeen year old!  :( I have good reason to be scared, plenty of experiences with little kids getting into my stuff. I'm sure it'll end up being a wonderful experience for me though, I hope! :(

Busy, Busy, Busy.... :) :(

Wow! My life went from lazy to hectic in a matter of 24 hours!! Here is sort of what my schedule looks like for the next couple of weeks: today through Sunday we are moving (20-22), Monday I work at Le Bonheur (23), Tuesday I clean someones house (24), Wednesday I am leaving for Florida and won't be back until Sunday (25-29), Monday I work Le Bonheur again (30), Tuesday and Wednesday I pack (1-2), and Thursday I leave for Hawaii and won't be back for ten days! (3-13). I am really excited about it but thinking about it all makes my head spin!! :~)
Well, I'd better go help with the moving!

What happened at the meeting last night???

Well, we got to Ben and Toni's around 6:30pm and ate dinner. We sang songs for awhile then there was some talking. Basically all the talk was about love and what the word love means. It ended up being a pretty good meeting even though like everybody was tired and fighting sleep the entire time. Towards the end of the meeting, my dad got directions to this guy Robert's house and he got our phone numbers. He wants to come to our house to see our life and we are going to his house. I excited about what could come of this. They are the ones with a seventeen year old girl who I've talked to a couple times before. I hope this will get us closer and I will get to know her better.

Cold weather...:(

If you are someone who knows me then you know that I don't like cold weather...and that is exactly what is happening outside...and inside! :( :( It seems like Antarctica out there! I think our heat source gave up on us. Right now I'm sitting at my kitchen table typing. I've been wearing my jacket all morning along with socks. I am NOT looking forward to the snow this year! :( Me and snow?...not really. We don't get along. It always seems to be getting in my boots, down my shirt, in my face, in my socks....Aaaaarrrgggg!! And worst of all, I can't get back at it for annoying me! I mean I could get a big bucket of snow and bring it inside to melt it, but that's not really satisfying. There's always more snow outside, lurking, waiting for me to come out so it can pounce on me! If I were to say that I was grateful for anything right now, it would be that it's not snowing!

Is there anybody else that does not like or really like cold weather/snow!!
