Day three in Hawaii!!! :) :)

Early this morning at 5am Mic and I woke
up to get ready to go with my brother Brody
down to Diamond Head where he was going
to surf. We left at 5:45am. Diamond Head is
on the south side of Oahu. When we got there
it was cold from the breeze coming right off the
ocean. I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt so it
wasn't fun! We stood around for a couple minutes
then scrambled down a cliff to the water side.
Brody paddled out to surf some waves and Mic
and I stood by the water watching the sun rise.
He didn't want to get wet even though he was
wearing his swimsuit. It was funny watching him
run from the waves as they splashed up against
the shore.

This is Brody paddling out to surf...and his footprints.

There were loads of people surfing. One guy was kneeling saying a silent prayer before he went out to surf.

If you look real close you can see one of Brody's friends surfing.

The sand here is amazing! Unlike Florida sand, when you walk it makes deep prints!

From Diamond Head, Mic and I walked about two miles down the road to KCC Farmers Market where my parents, Marshall and Aika where. It was pretty neat there with a bunch of fresh, organic, local grown fruits and vegetables. We bought stuff for a salad for dinner and some random other foods.

Here is a picture of Aika at the Farmers Market.

After the KCC we drove around to do a little sight-seeing.
This is the Makapuu overlook.

After driving around, we went to Hanauma Bay to snorkel. It was gorgeous. Basically the whole Hanauma Bay is a volcano that erupted quite a long time ago, hardened, and filled with water. Now it is filled with coral and beautiful aquatic life.

Anyway, we got there around 10am and left around 2pm. The perfect time for sun burning!! :( That is exactly what happened! It was 91 degrees today! I snorkeled a little then ended up falling asleep on my towel. Not exactly the smartest idea. I put sunscreen on three times and it still didn't help. :(

We were pretty much out of energy after that so we just went home to eat a little something. Brody dropped Aika off and he went to pick up Saki. Marshall and Mic went to buy some chicken for dinner so I was left with Aika. We walked around the ranch a little then played inside. She is getting to know us better. She will come to me from her dad and Marshall now!! :)

Micaiah playing with her.

When Marshall and Mic came back, they had bought some uncooked fish and barely cooked octopus. Marsh said we all had to try it, and we all did! It was interesting but not disgusting.

So now my mom is in bed, my dad, mic, and Marsh are watching "The Apple Dumpling Gang" and I am blogging. Tomorrow brings new adventurous!!
